Dr. Gregory A. Buford is a nationally recognized, board-certified plastic surgeon and one of the foremost authorities in non-surgical facial aesthetics. As a MASTER Facial Injectables Trainer, he has trained thousands of medical professionals across the country in the safe, artistic, and effective use of facial injectables.

He is the founder of the Core Aesthetics Training Institute, a premier educational platform dedicated to elevating standards in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Buford is also the visionary behind the CORE Mastery Summit, an exclusive event focused on MedSpa entrepreneurship and strategic business development for aesthetic leaders.

Dr. Buford’s expertise in plastic surgery and aesthetic innovation has earned him widespread recognition across major media outlets, including Vogue, E! An accomplished advisor and consultant, Dr. Buford serves on the advisory boards of numerous pioneering companies, including Monj, Mend Nutrition, Dominion Aesthetic Technologies, Solta Medical, Acorn, OCTANe, Allergan, Galderma, Evolus, Apyx Medical, Aesthetic Biomedical, Spider-Wort, TruElastin Laboratories, and RealSelf.

As a respected authority in the MedSpa field, Dr. Buford has served as Medical Director for several leading medspas throughout Colorado. In 2025, he was named National Medical Director for a multi-state private equity expansion initiative focused on scaling MedSpa operations throughout the Midwest.

Dr. Buford is also a published author of three acclaimed books:

He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by residencies in both General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He further refined his skills through advanced training in Cosmetic Surgery via the Baker-Stuzin-Baker Fellowship and completed an Anti-Aging and Restorative Medicine Fellowship through A4M. In 2018, he graduated from the Physician CEO program at the Kellogg School of Management.

Commitment to the Future

Dr. Buford currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Colorado Anschutz College of Nursing, where he contributes to the academic development of future healthcare providers.

Deeply connected to his academic roots, Dr. Buford was honored to deliver the 2018 Commencement Address for UC San Diego’s Revelle College and returned in 2022 as the Keynote Speaker for the Revelle College Honors Graduation. That same year, he was named an Honorary Fellow of UCSD Revelle College, a distinction reflecting his continued commitment to education and leadership.
